Around Lola's 10th birthday, she lost her father, than her mother. To make it even worse to, she had to watch all her friends and partially her family disappear. Hitler's final solution ended up making six million of the nine million Jews wipe out. Lola's grandmother entrusted her to a Ukrainian woman who hid her from the Nazi. Lola had to bravely move to another family were she spent nine months buried in the bottom of a dirty barn. During the war Lola was shuffled from one family to another. Lola was finally reunited with an uncle in 1945, just before she turned 11. Four years later Lola immigrated to America to start a brand new life.
Lola grew up in New York City, and ended up getting married, and had a family of her own. she was just like her husband. he also, was a hidden child. they didn't like mentioning it to each other nor to their kids. Still today, Lola Rein Kaufman is still living happily.
